Get Your Child a Fun Labyroom

Estonians are not only bright-minded in writing code and software, they can also innovate design – an Estonian company Labyroom has come up with a truly fun children’s playground called Labyroom.

Labyroom is a 980×980 mm L-shaped labyrinth panel that enables you to build a countless number of different spaces: houses, palaces, castles, caves etc. Something new every time – just turn the cube from one side to another and you have a new fun game at once! The child goes in through one hole in the cube and comes out through another.

Being a playground for children between the ages of 3–10, the system can even be placed outdoors in your garden. Labyroom is produced from materials that are easy to care for – UV-proof plywood with colored plastic coating and rims that have been polished three times.

You can build an even bigger Labyroom by joining many cubes together. The price of one cube is 330 EUR.

Priit Isok, one of the owners of Labyroom says ordinary playgrounds often look alike, are dull and boring. He got the idea for Labyroom, building a toy house out of a television set for his three children. There are some Labyrooms already set up in Estonia, one at the Narva-Jõesuu resort Meresuu Spa.

Yet as the Estonian market is very small (only 100 000 children at the relevant age), the company is looking for Scandinavian and other markets. Fortunately the Labyroom is now patented and holds an international quality certificate.
