Frenchman Fabrice Schott has established a new kind of translation service in Estonia.

Transeeo.com, operated by a company called Linxaccross and launched only few months ago uses time zone differences as a key in its business model. 

The Operation Director of Transeeo Viktooria Boldoreva (pictured) says that the aim is to provide high-speed and high quality translation primarily to companies and government agencies. Freelance translators, that work for the company and are located worldwide help to reduce the waiting time. 

“We live in a round world: while some sleep, the others work. So the whole world never sleeps at the same moment,” says Boldoreva. “Ideally, the translator is located in a time zone, where the document is sent by the client at eight or nine in the morning. Thus it is possible to do the work during normal working hours and receive the translation within an optimal period of time.”

In other words: when you sleep, someone is translating your document. And by the time you wake up, the translation is already completed.

It is particularly useful in relationships between US in Asia, where time zones make a huge difference.
