Zeroturnaround evolved out of Webmedia and LiveRebel is seen as having hopes of becoming the company’s second big hit product. JRebel (formerly known as JavaRebel) has been on the market for years and holds great sway among Java developers all over the world, primarily in the US and Western Europe. It has been sold to over 60 countries and the company’s turnover is more than 650,000 euros.

Jrebel is a must tool for programmers

Jrebel helps programmers working in the Java environment save significantly on time. It is a programming platform that allows for immediate results of rewriting code. One programmer would save an average of half an hour per day, amounting to several weeks each year. Considering that an hour of programmer labour costs well over 30 euros and that big companies employ hundreds of programmers, use of Jrebel would translate into significant savings.

Even though Jrebel was first talked about many years ago, only last year did Zeroturnaround achieve a major jump in sales. One of the company’s founders, Jevgeni Kabanov, says that the product was completely new and unique, and thus efforts to this point focused on promotional work and explaining the product’s strong points. Potential customers were briefed on the problem addressed by the program and its scope. The company’s people went from one conference to the next, inciting people to come and try the product for themselves.

Now Kabanov can reel off a list of companies that have bought the Jrebel license: LinkedIn, Lufthansa, Apple, Disney, HP, IBM, Cisco, Twitter etc, over 1000 companies all told. In 2011, the company expects at least 500 percent growth!
